This recipe will teach you how to make your own granola and save you money on granola that has a megaton of ingredients in it.
I was inspired to make this because I have a busy lifestyle and a passion for food. I needed something that I could keep in the freezer and take on the go when I needed it.
These bars are high in fiber which helps with supporting a healthy colon. Dates are a natural sweetener, so there is no added sugar in this recipe. The ingredients in this recipe are high in omega 3’s and vitamin E which can help with heart and brain function, is good for the skin, and so much more!
These granola bar bites are extremely addictive, so consume with caution!
THE INGREDIENTS
- Walnuts
- Rolled Oats/Quick Oats
- Sunflower Seeds
- Dates/Date Paste
- Coconut Oil
- Himalayan Salt (or salt of choice)
- Chia Seeds
- Almond Butter
- Coconut Flakes
THE STEPS:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees Celsius

Combine walnuts, oats, sunflower seeds, chia seeds, some coconut flakes, and melted coconut oil in a bowl

Mix until everything is coated with the coconut oil

Transfer to a baking tray and bake until oats are golden brown (~15-20 minutes)

Take the tray out and let it cool down until everything is at a warm temperature

Mix in dates until you cannot further see the dates

Add a pinch of salt

Transfer to a container with parchment paper

Drizzle almond butter and coconut flakes on top

Freeze for 2-3 hours (or eat right away)
